On September 5–6, 2003, our Centre for Scientific Tourism in Slovakia was honoured by being called in to provide distinguished professors of silviculture from universities in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, Italy, Greece, Slovenia and Croatia with a specialized expertise on the overall natural history of the localities visited during a IUFRO excursion to Slovak selective, semi-natural and natural forests. This excursion was organized by Prof. Dr. Milan Saniga, a most distinguished professor of silviculture and chair of the Silviculture Department of the Faculty of Forestry in Zvolen, Slovakia. |
