Centre for Scientific Tourism in Slovakia continues its service to foreign university students
First results from carbon-cycling research in managed and unmanaged forests also cover several primeval forest localities in Slovakia. They are presented in a study drawn by Costanze Schaaf, a graduate student from the Bayreuth University. She conducted her research at the Max-Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry. Constanze kindly sent us a copy of her thesis that includes information she collected during her visit to Slovakia. Our centre provided her with the scientific guidance on that occasion.
