CSTS aims a part of its educational work at
professional Slovak foresters (April 2002)
CSTS continues its efforts to promote
site-adapted forestry ideas among Slovak foresters by seminars and field
excursions. One of them took place in the mid-April when around 30 foresters
from Lesoprojekt, state-owned company concerned with the development of forest
management plans, visited Dobrocsky Primeval Forest awarded the European Diploma
by the Council of Europe. CSTS guides provided them with insights into the inner
dynamics of beech-fir primeval forests and how the dynamics can be applied in a
site-adapted forestry.
